U.S muling tiniyak ang kanilang suporta sa anti-terror campaign ng Pinas
Lalo pang pinagtibay ng Pilipinas at U.S ang national defense at security partnership para malabanan ang terorismo, piracy at iba pang transnational crimes maging ang paghahanda sa mga natural na kalamidad.
Sa pakikipagpulong sa bansa ni Admiral Scott Swift, ang Commander ng U.S Navy Fleet kina Foreign Affairs Sec. Alan Peter Cayetano, Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff General Eduardo Año, at Philippine Navy Flag Officer in-Command Vice Admiral Ronald Mercado, sinabi nito na nagkaroon sila ng pagkakataon na magkapalitan ng regional security concerns gaya halimbawa sa counterterrorism at piracy.
Ayon kay swift, ang matagal nang ugnayan ng Pilipinas at Amerika ay nagbunga na ng peace, stability at prosperity sa Asia Pacific region.
Nasa bansa si Swift simula noong June 11 hanggang ngayong araw.
