“Not guilty” plea, inihain nina Napoles at Ducut sa pork cases

Naglagak ng “not guilty” plea ang tinaguriang pork barrel scam queen na si Janet Lim Napoles at dating Energy Regulatory Commission chair Zenaida Ducut.

Kaugnay ito ng ma kasong graft na nag-ugat sa maanomalyang pork barrel funds mula kay dating Davao del Sur Rep. Marc Douglas Cagas IV.

Inihain nina Napoles, Ducut, at siyam na iba pa ang kanilang mga not guilty pleas sa arraignment sa Sandiganbayan Third Division kahapon.

Gayunman, hindi naman sumipot si Cagas sa korte pero ipinaliwanag ng kaniyang abogadong si Atty. Joseph Capistrano na baka nilang umapela sa korte kaugnay ng pagbasura sa mga kaso laban sa kaniyang kliyente.

Bukod kina Napoles at Ducut, kasama rin sa mga sumalang sa arraignment ng tig-dalawang counts ng graft ang malversation sina Department of Budget and Management Usec. Mario Relampagos, budgent and management specialist Rosario Nuñez, administrative assistants at staffers na sina Marilou Bare at Lalaine Paule.

Gayundin ang mga dating opisyal ng Technology and Resource Center na sina Dennis Cunanan, Maria Rosalinda Lacsamana at Francisco Figura, pati na si budget officer Consuelo Lilian Espiritu, at chief accountant Marivic Jover dahil sa tig-isang count naman ng parehong mga kaso.
