Hindi pag-alis ng SC sa ban sa contraceptives, welcome sa CBCP
Suportado ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) ang hakbang ng Supreme Court na hindi pag-alis sa ban nito laban sa dalawang contraceptive implants.
Ayon kay Fr. Jerome Secillano, executive secretary ng CBCP committee on public affairs, bagaman “temporary legal and moral victory” lamang ito, ikinalulugod pa rin nila ito.
Sa ngayon kasi ay hindi pa mai-alis ng SC ang temporary restraining order laban sa mga contraceptives na Implanon at Implanon NXT.
Nakabinbin pa kasi ang pagdinig ng Food and Drug Administration tungkol sa pagiging ligtas, mabisa, at “nonabortiveness” ng mga naturang contraceptive implants.
