Ngayong nasa ilalim na ng martial law ang Mindanao region, hindi mag-aatubili ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) na magtupad ng right to censure.
Ito ay para masiguro na hindi malalagay sa peligro ang operational security ng tropa ng pamahalaan at hindi malagay sa peligro ang buhay ng mga sundalo at pulis na nagsasagawa ng operasyon ngayon sa Marawi City laban sa Maute Group.
Pero paglilinaw ni AFP spokesman Brig. Gen. Restituto Padilla, hindi naman nila irerekomenda na suspendihin ang freedom of expression.
Ayon kay Padilla, mahalaga rin kasi na ikunsidera ang iba pang national security operations.
