Moratorium ng DepEd sa field trips, maaring tumagal pa
Ipinahayag ng Department of Education ang posibilidad na palawigin pa ang moratorium na kanilang ipinatupad sa mga field trip sa mga pampublikong elementary at high schools.
Ayon kay Education Undersecretary Jesus Mateo, sinisiyasat pa ng technical working group nila ang mga polisiya tungkol sa mga educational trip.
Sa ngayon aniya ay nagsasagawa pa sila ng diskusyon dahil marami ang maaring mabago dito.
Dagdag pa ni Mateo, hinihintay pa nila ang magiging desisyon din ng Commission on Higher Education, lalo’t ito ang unang nagpatupad ng moratorium.
Matatandaang ipinahinto muna ang mga field trips hanggang Hunyo matapos ang malagim na aksidenteng kinasangkutan ng mga college students sa Tanay, Rizal kung saan labinlima ang nasawi.
