Piloto at 2 crew na namatay sa chopper crash sa Tanay, Rizal pinangalanan na

Kinilala na ng Philippine Air Forces ang mga namatay lulan ng bumagsak na U1H helicopter kahapon sa Hilltop, Sampaloc, Tanay Rizal.

Namatay sa insidente ang piloto na si Captain Christian Paul Litan, ang pilot-in-command, 30 taong gulang at taga Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas at dalawang crew nito na sina crew chief PAF Sgt. Byron Tolosa, 38 taong gulang, taga Villamor, Pasay City at gunner Airman First Class Joseph de Leon, 30 taong gulang na tubong Lingayen, Pangasinan.

Sugatan naman ang command pilot na si First Lt. Ceazar Rinas, 27 taong gulang mula General Trias, Cavite.

Ayon kay PAF Commanding General Lt. Gen. Edgar Fallorina, kaagad silang nagpadala ng mga personnel mula sa 505th Search and Rescue Group upang magsagawa ng search and retrieval operations sa pinagbagsakan ng chopper at para magsagawa ng initial assessment sa insidente.

Kasunod nito, ididispatsa na rin ng PAF ang kanilang imbestigador para matukoy ang naging sanhi ng pagbagsak ng UH1D.

Nagsasagawa ng air to ground training at disaster rescue operations training nang bumagsak ang nabanggit na UH1 helicopter ng PAF.
