Queen Elizabeth, nagdiwang ng ika-91 na kaarawan

Queen-Elizabeth-II-at-Royal-Ascot-horse-rase-14-June-2016Mataimtim na ipinagdiwang ni Queen Elizabeth II ang kaniyang ika-91 na kaarawan sa kaniyang tahanan.

Habang tahimik na nagdiriwang si Queen Elizabeth sa loob ng tahanan, nagsagawa naman ng 41-gun salute sa Hyde Park ang Royal Horse Artillery horse-and-gun carriages.

Sa labas naman ng Buckingham Palace, tumugtog ng “Happy Birthday” ang banda ng mga guardsmen sa kasagsagan ng Changing of the Guard ceremony.

Bukod dito ay nagkaroon pa ng 62-gun salute sa Tower of London.

Ito na ang ika-91 kaarawan ni Elizabeth, at sa kasalukuyan ay siya ang itinuturing na “oldest and longest-reigning monarch,” dahil noong February 6, 1952 pa siya nagsimulang maging reyna.

Mayroon namang tinatawag na “official birthday” si Queen Elizabeth na ginaganap tuwing Hunyo, kung kailan maaliwalas ang panahon.
