Ito ay kahit na sinibak na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si dating Interior and Local Government Secretary Ismael ‘Mik’e Sueno dahil kwestyunableng kontrata.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Ernesto Abella, perpekto ang nasabing kontrata.
“The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) firetruck deal will proceed. It is a perfected contract and there is no temporary restraining order (TRO) that prevents its implementation.” Pahayag ni Abella.
Paliwanag pa ni Abella, wala namang temporary restraining order na inilalabas ang korte para pigilin ang pagbili ng mga fire truck.
Una rito, humihirit si dating Congressman Jonathan Dela Cruz ng Abakada partylist at tagapagsalita ni dating Senador Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos Jr. ng TRO sa Supreme Court para harangin ang pagbili ng dilg ng mga mamahaling firetruck.
