Vice President Leni Robredo, tumanggap ng honorary degree
Kung tinanggihan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang tradisyunal na pagbibigay ng honorary degree ng University of the Philippines sa pangulo ng bansa, tumanggap naman si Vice President Leni Robredo mula sa isang unibersidad sa Bicol.
Kahapon ay ginawaran ng University of Saint Anthony sa Iriga City si Robredo ng honorary Doctor of Humanities degree, na isinabay sa commencement exercises ng paaralan.
Ito na ang ikalawang honorary doctorate na iginawad kay Robredo, dahil nabigyan na siya ng honorary degree for Public Administration sa Polytechnic University of the Philippines noong 2015.
Kabilang sa mga pagsasalarawan ng unibersidad kay Robredo ay ang pagiging isang civic leader, humanist, educator, at champion of human rights.
