Barangay chairman sa North Cotabato, dinukot ng NPA

tied hands handcuffDinukot ng mga armadong miyembro ng New People’s Army (NPA) ang isang barangay chairman sa Magpet, North Cotabato kahapon.

Tinukoy ni Supt. Romeo Galgo Jr. ang biktima na si Michael Lingaro na chairman ng Barangay Mahungcog sa Magpet.

Ayon kay Galgo, dumating ang mga rebelde sa barangay dakong alas-9:00 ng umaga, at inatasan ang mga lalaking residente na magsilabas sa kanilang mga tahanan.

Matapos nilang mahanap si Lingaro, tinangay na ng mga rebelde ang biktima.
