DC at 16 pang estado, hinimok ang korte na ipagpatuloy ang pagpigil sa travel ban

Travel-Ban-620x413Iginiit ng mga attorney general mula sa 16 estado at ng District of Columbia na ang pagpayag sa implementasyon ng travel ban ni US President Donald Trump ay mas lalo lang magpapalakas sa mensahe ng takot at intimidation.

Kanilang hinimok ang korte na tanggihan ang hiling ng administrasyon na hayaan munang mapatupad ang naturang ban habang ikinukunsidera nito ang kanilang apela.

Pinahaba pa ng isang judge ang pagpigil sa travel ban ni Trump kung saan kahit aprubahan ng 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ang hiling ng administrasyon ay mananatili itong “block” sa Hawaii.

Ang mga attorney general na kumukwestiyon sa naturang travel ban ay mula Virginia, Maryland, California, Oregon, Connecticut, New York, Delaware, North Carolina, Illinois, Rhode Island, Iowa, Vermont, Maine, Washington, Massachusetts, New Mexico at District of Columbia.
