Pagbibigay ng military equipment ng US sa Pilipinas, tuloy pa rin

Tuloy ang pagbibigay ng Amerika ng military equipment, training at assistance sa Pilipinas.

Ito ay kahit pa inihayag ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na wala nang military alliance ang Pilipinas at Amerika sa ilalim ng kanyang administrasyon.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Ernesto Abella, natalakay sa courtesy call kahapon ni US Ambassador Sung Kim kay Pangulong Duterte sa Panacan, Davao City na nananatili namang malakas ang bilateral relation ng Pilipinas at Amerika.

Tuloy din aniya ang kooperasyon ng intelligence forces ng Pilipinas at Amerika kung saan nagkakaroon ng information sharing, training at equipment support.

“On H.E. Sung Kim part, he is quite proud of the cooperation between US and PH intelligence forces in terms of intelligence and information sharing, training and equipment support. H.E. Sung Kim also assured PRRD that the US understands the security concerns of the Philippines and that the US is ready to provide more military equipment, assistance and training.” pahayag ni Abella.

Ayon kay Ambassador Sung Kim, sinabi nitong nauunawaan ng Amerika ang security concerns ng Pilipinas at handa pa rin ang kanilang bansa na magbigay ng kailangang assistance.

Kapwa binigyang diin nina Pangulong Duterte at Sung Kim na mahalaga na sila ay nagkakaroon ng diskusyon upang madetermina din naman na pareho sila ng nilalayon.
