Pilipinas at Thailand lumagda sa kasunduan kontra “fake news”

Lumagda ang Pilipinas at Thailand sa isang memorandum of understanding para paigtingin pa ang bilateral relationship sa komunikasyon ng dalawang bansa.

Ayon kay Presidential Communications Office Sec.Martin Andanar, ito ay para labanan ang pagkalat ng mga pekeng balita.

Sakop aniya ng MOU ang ang TV, radio, print, public relations at social media management.

Hindi lang aniya ang Pilipinas at Thailand ang dapat na magkaisa kundi maging ang iba pang bansa na kasapi ng Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) na labanan ang mga fake news.

“Both sides also agreed that all ASEAN Members should come together to combat “fake news”, ayon kay Andanar.

Ang kalihim ay kasama ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na ngayon ay nasa Thailand para sa kanyang official working visit.
