Sa panayam ng Radyo Inquirer kay Senior Fire Officer 1 Owen Peria ng Bureau of Fire Protection National Capital Region, nagsimula ang sunog kaninang alas 8:55 ng umaga.

Mabilis na kumalat ang apoy kung kaya agad na itinaas sa ikatlong alarma ang sunog.

Agad namang rumesponde ang mga tauhan ng BFP para apulahin ang apoy.
