FDA, PNP, sanib-pwersa sa kampanya VS pekeng produkto
Sanib-pwersang aaksyunan ng Food and Drug Administration (FDA) at Philippine National Police (PNP) ang pagsugpo sa produksyon ng mga hindi rehistradong pagkain at health products sa merkado.
Dumaan ang 111 na opisyal ng FDA at PNP sa isang training upang maprotektahan ang mga mamimili sa mga ilegal na produkto.
Ayon kay FDA Director General Nela Charade Puno, nagdudulot ito ng kapahamakan sa buhay at kalusugan ng publiko.
Kaya aniya, isinulong ang “strategic team-up” kasama ang PNP upang tugusin ang mga sindikatong nagpapatuloy ng ilegal na produksyon nito.
Samantala, sakop ng isinagawang training ng mga opisyal ang FDA Act of 2009, Special Law on Counterfeit Drugs, Generics Act, Pharmacy law, Food Safety Act, Milk Code at Cheaper Medicine Law.
