Pangulong Duterte nagtalaga ng mga bagong opisyal ng pamahalaan

Aabot sa 21 appointees ang itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa iba’t ibang puwesto sa pamahalaan.

Nangunguna sa listahan ang kontrobersyal na dating propesor ng University of Sto. Tomas na si Jose David Lapuz bilang Presidential Consultant for Education and International Organization.

Matatandang una nang lumutang ang pangalan ni Lapuz bilang Chairperson ng Commission on Higher Education kapalit ni Patricia Licuanan.

Itinalaga rin ni Pangulong Duterte si Taguig Mayor Laarni Lopez-Cayetano bilang kinatawan ng local government sa Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) habang magiging kinatawan naman ng Youth Sector sa LEDAC si National Youth Commission Chairperson Aiza Seguerra.

Maging ang sikat na furniture designer na si Kenneth Cobonpue ay itinalaga ni Pangulong Duterte bilang Co-Chairperson ng Central Visayas NEDA Regional Development Council.

Itinalaga rin ng pangulo si Philvocs Director Renato Solidum bilang Undersecretary ng Department of Science and Technology (DOST).

Ang ilan pang mga appointees ay sina Chairperson of the National Economic and Development Authority Regional Development Council for the Cordillera Administrative Region – Baguio City mayor Mauricio Domogan

Jose Pamintuan de Jesus – bilang miyembro ng board of  directors ng  Clark Development Corp, Eleazar Diaz bilang Executive Director of Standards, Certification and Watchkeeping office ng Maritime Industry Authority (Marina), Jorge Estanislao bilang SBMA Board Member na kakatawan sa  Morong, Bataan, Julius Escalona bilang SBMA Board Member para sa Hermosa, Bataan, C’zar Sulaik – Deputy Administrator ng National irrigation Administration at Alvin Robles Reyes – member of the board of trustees, Asian Productivity Organization (APO) Unit, Inc.

Itinalaga rin ng pangulo sina Jay Santiago – member of the board of directors ng Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), Jose Antonio Goitia – executive director ng Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission,  Patricia Ocampo – member of boad of trustees ng Nayong Filipino Foundation at Rico Pableo Jr. – executive director, National Commission for Cultyre and the Arts.

Binigyan rin ng posisyon sa pamahalaan sina James Lao – Member of the Board of Governors ng Philippine Red Cross,  Melzar Galicia – Commissioner ng Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board, Rogelio Uy – Board of Trustees Member – Local Water Utilities Administration at Marvin Macapagal – Board of Directors member ng SBMA na kakatawan naman sa national government.

Ang Pagibig Fund naman ay pansamantalang pamumunuan ni Acmad Moti makaraang tanggapin ng pangulo ang resignation ni Darlene Berberabe.
