Kinansela ng dalawang panel ng Commission on Appointments ang mga confirmation hearings.
Pinangunahan ng C.A Committee on Education, Culture and Sports ni Senator Bam Aquino at Committee on Environment and Natural Resources ni Senator Manny Pacquiao ang pagkansela sa confirmation hearings nina Department of Education Sec. Leonor Briones at Department of Environment and Natural Resources Sec. Gina Lopez.
Ang pagkansela ay kasunod ng ipinatupad na balasahan sa senado kahapon, araw ng Lunes.
Sa nasabing balasahan, tinapyasan ng komite ang apat na liberal party senators kabilang na sina senators Risa Hontiveros, Franklin Drilon, Bam Aquino at Francis Pangilinan.
Bukod dito, dahil sa rekomendasyon ni Senate President Aquilino Pimentel II, kinansela na rin ng C.A ang nakatakdang caucus at plenary session bukas, araw ng Miyerkules.
