Marcos hindi interesado sa DILG

Ibinunyag ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na hindi interesado si dating Senador Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na maging kalihim ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).

Ayon sa pangulo, nagkausap na sila ni marcos at sinabing ayaw nitong maging DILG secretary.

Una rito, lumutang na ang pangalan ni Marcos na ipapalit umano kay DILG Secretary Mike Sueno oras na matapos ang kanyang one year ban kaugnay sa kanyang naging pagtakbo sa nakalipas na halalan.

Si marcos ay tumakbong vice president sa katatapos na may 2016 elections subalit natalo pero kaagad namang naghain ng apela.

Samantala, inihayag naman ni Pangulong Duterte na nananatili ang kanyang kimpiyansa kay Environment Sec. Gina Lopez kahit hindi pa nakukumpirma ng Commission on Appointments (CA).

Pero hindi naman daw hawak ni Pangulong Duterte ang career ng isang opisyal dahil may mga prosesong masunod bilang bahagi ng demokrasya gaya ng CA confirmation.
