Sa tanggapan ng National Bureau of Investigation muna magpapalipas ng gabi si dating NBI Deputy Director at Bureau of Corrections o BuCor OIC Rafael Ragos.
Ito’y makaraang sumuko sa mga otoridad, umaga ng araw ng Linggo.
Kanina, sumailalim na si Ragos sa booking process kung saan kinuha ang fingerprints at mugshots.
Ayon kay NBI Director Ferdinand Lavin, si Ragos ay boluntaryong sumuko kay Atty. Sixto Burgos, deputy director for intellegence ng NBI, sa Quezon City.
Kusa raw itong sumurender ilang araw matapos ilabas ng Muntinlupa City Regional Trial Court branch 204 ang warrant of arrest laban sa kanya, Senadora Leila de Lima at Ronnie Dayan.
Bukas (February 27) ay inaasahang ipiprisenta ni Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre si Ragos sa media.
Dadalhin din si Ragos sa Muntinlupa RTC para sa return of the warrant, habang ang korte ang magdedetermina kung saan siya ikukulong.
Si Ragos ay co-accused ni de Lima sa multiple drug charges, kaugnay sa operasyon na ilegal na droga sa loob ng New Bilibid Prison o NBP.
Noong kalihim ng DOJ si de Lima, si Ragos naman ang BuCor OIC.
Base sa resolusyon ng DOJ, si Ragos ay ilang beses na nag-deliver ng mga salapi kay De Lima sa tahanan nito sa Paranaque.
Tumanggap din umano si Ragos ng buwanang tara na aabot sa P100,000, bukod pa sa mga nakukuha nito mula sa mga inmate.
