Sinapit ni dating Pangulong Arroyo, matitikman ni De Lima ayon kay Panelo
Tiyak na matitikman na ngayon ni Senador Leila De Lima ang mga pahirap na pinatikim niya noon kay dating Pangulong Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
Pahayag ito ni Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo kaugnay sa isinampang tatlong drug cases ng Department of Justice laban kay De Lima sa Muntinlupa City Regional Trial Court.
Ayon kay Panelo, maganda na i-welcome ni De Lima ang kaso dahil magkakaroon ito ng pagkakataon na ma idepensa ang sarili sa tamang venue at mapatunayang hindi siya guilty.
Kinasuhan si De Lima ng DOJ dahil sa umano’y pagkakasangkot nito sa operasyon ng illegal na droga sa New Bilibid Prisons.
Matatandaang isa si De Lima sa mga nagpursige na makulong si Arroyo kaugnay sa kasong election fraud.
