Ex-Gov. ng Rizal, kinasuhan ng Ombudsman dahil sa overpriced na fertilizer
Sinampahan na ng Ombudsman ng kaso si dating Rizal Gov. Casimiro Ynarez sa Sandiganbayan.
Nakakita ang Ombudsman ng sapat na basehan para kasuhan si Ynares ng apat na bilang ng kasong graft dahil sa ‘di umano’y pagbili ng provincial government ng Rizal ng mga overpriced na fertilizer noong 2004 at 2005.
Lumabas sa ginawang imbestigasyon ng Ombudsman na pumasok si Ynares ng direct contract sa Feshan Philippines para magsuplay ng mahigit isaang libong bote ng organic fertilizer.
Ang nasabing kontrata ay nabatid na hindi dumaan sa public bidding at overpriced ng mahigit na isang milyong piso.
Nabatid na inulit pa ito ng Rizal government sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Ynares noong 2005.
