U.S. Justice Department, ipinababasura ang court order na humaharang sa utos na travel ban ni Pres. Trump

trump tppWashington – Umapela na ang Justice Department sa federal appeals court na ibasura ang kautusan ng isang Seattle judge na pansamantalang nagpapatigil sa travel ban na ipinatupad ni United States President Donald Trump.

Ang request ay inihain sa 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Sabado ng gabi roon.

Hinihiling ng Justice Department sa korte na i-lift ang kautusan na inilabas ni U.S. District Judge James Robart.

Pinipigil ng naturang utos ang Trump administration executive order na nagsusupinde sa refugee program ng Amerika at humaharang sa pitong Muslim-majority countries sa immigration o makapasok sa U.S.

Noong Sabado, sinuspinde ng administrasyon ang enforcement ng travel ban dahil ikinakasa na ng Justice Department ang legal challenge hinggil sa usapin.

Sa Twitter naman, binanatan ni President Trump si Robart na tinawag nitong “so-called judge.”
