Special ‘hardship’ allowance ng mga guro, ilalabas na ng DepEd
Matatanggap na ng mga guro ang inaabangan nitong Special Hardship Allowance (SHA) mula sa Department of Education (DepEd).
Ito ay matapos na aprubahan ni DepEd Sec. Leonor Briones ang pagpapalabas ng pondo para sa SHA para punan ang kakulangan sa mga regional offices nito noong 2016.
Ang nasabing pondo ay para sa mahigit na 14 na libong recipient schools na ang mga guro ay nakatalaga sa hardship posts and multi- grade classes at mahigit na dalawang libong school districts at community learning center na may mobile at alternative learning system teachers.
Una nang humingi ang deped ng 977 million pesos para sa SHA noong nakaraang Nobyembre mula sa Department of Budget na nagpalabas naman ng Special Allotment Release Order para dito noong December 29, 2017.
Kabilang sa mga makakatanggap ng SHA ay ang mga multigrade, mobile, at ALS teachers mula sa Regions 1, 2, 3, 4-A, 4-B, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), at National Capital Region (NCR).
