P2P bus service sinuspinde ng LTFRB

Sinuspinde ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ang point-to-point (P2P) bus system dito sa Metro Manila.

Inanunsyo ng LTFRB na simula January 7 kahapon ang mga operasyon ng P2P buses sa SM North, Trinoma, Eton Centris, SM Megamall at Glorietta 5 ay suspendido hanggang sa makakuha ang operator nito na Froehlich Tours Inc. ng permit. Ayon sa ahenya kanilang sinuspinde ang operasyon ng Froehlich Tours Inc. matapos 90-day provisional authority (PA) nito. Nilinaw ni LTFRB Board Member Aileen Lizada na sinuspinde ang operasyon ng 28 P2P bus units ng Froehlich Tours Inc. ay dahil sa napaso nitong provisional authority (PA) at hindi sa sinasabi ng naturang kompanya na viral video ang dahilan ng suspensyon. Ang nasabing video ay kuha ng isang dating broadcaster na naka-post sa kanyang FB account kung saan makikita ng isang P2P bus na bumibiyahe sa EDSA na walang license plate o maging conduction sticker. Umabot sa kaalam ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) ang nasabing video kung kaya’t inutusan nito ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) at ang LTFRB na imbestigan ang insidente.
