Gun ban ipapatupad sa Maynila kaugnay sa Traslacion ng Black Nazarene

Dela Rosa Crame1Ipinag-utos na ni Philippine National Police Chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa ang suspension ng Permit to Carry Firearms Outside Residence (PTCFOR) base na rin sa rekomendasyon ng National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO).

Ayon kay Dela Rosa, tanging mga nakauniporme lamang na mga pulis at sundalo ang maaring makapagdala ng baril o maging mga security guards basta naka-duty at naka-uniporme.

Ang hakbang, ani Dela Rosa ay bilang dagdag na seguridad upang matiyak na walang anumang aberya na magaganap sa Lunes, mismong araw ng Traslacion.

Kanina ay kinumpirma ni Interior Sec. Mike Sueno na may terror threat sa Lunes dahil sa banta ng panggugulo ng Maute Group at Abu Sayyaf Group.

Maliban sa PNP, tutulong din sa pagbibigay ng seguridad sa mga dadalo sa Traslacion ang Armed Forces of the Philippines at Philippine Coast Guard.
