National budget sa 2017, pipirmahan na ni Pangulong Duterte
Nakatakdang lagdaan ngayong araw ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang 3.35 trillion pesos national budget sa 2017 o General Appropriations Act 10924.
Ito ang unang national budget na pipirmahan ni Duterte bilang pangulo ng bansa.
Mamayang ala una ng hapon ang ceremonial signing ng naturang batas sa national budget.
Maliban sa mga regular na pinopondohan ng national budget, kabilang din sa ‘highlight’ para sa 2017 national budget ang dagdag na 1,000 pesos cash allowance sa mga guro; dagdag pondo para sa scholarship ng mga mag-aaral sa state universities and colleges; libreng matrikula para sa mga medical students; supplemental feeding ng DSWD; irrigation fees subsidy; pondo sa pag-asenso at pagbabago fund; dagdag na Philhealth subsidy; dagdag na pondo para sa Doctors to the Barrios at pagtatayo ng health facilities, at dagdag na 2.8 billion pesos para sa Department of National Defense.
