NBI, inirekomenda na kasuhan ang 2 Bureau of Customs executives
Inirekumenda ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang pagsasampa ng kaso laban sa dalawang Bureau of Customs (BOC) executives ng robbery-extortion at graft.
Ang naturang dalawang opisyal ay sina BOC Deputy Commissioner for Enforcement Arnel Alcaraz at Ma. Rhea Gregorio na lumabag sa Article 293 of the Revised Penal Code and of Sections 3 (a) and (e) of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act.
Kaugnay nito, kapwa mga abogado sina Alcaraz at Gregorio.
Na-relieved sa pwesto si Alcaraz matapos na sabihin ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na isang opisyal ng BOC ay may kinalaman sa extortion at binalaan ito na dapat masuspinde.
Naging basehan ng NBI sa kanilang rekomendasyon sa paghahain ng kaso ay ang reklamo ng may-ari ng isang brokerage firm na nakabase sa Barangay Bagong Nayon, Antipolo City at isang BOC representative.
