AFP Chief Año, hindi nagtakda ng deadline vs teroristang grupo
Tiniyak ni newly-installed AFP chief of staff Lt. Gen. Eduardo Año na gagawin ng militar ang lahat para mapulbos ang bandidong Abu Sayyaf, Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) at Maute Terror Group.
Pero sa kabila nito, hindi umano magtakda ng timeframe o deadline laban sa mga bandidong grupo si Año.
Paliwanag ni Año, sa ngayon nagpapatuloy ang opensiba ng militar laban sa mga bandidong grupo na sinimulan pa ni Ret. Gen Ricardo Visaya na nagretiro ngayong araw.
Samantala, sinabi ni Año na magpapatuloy ang kanilang focused military operations sa mga lugar kung saan nag-ooperate ang mga ito.
Pagtitiyak pa ng opisyal, lahat ng military resources ay kanilang idedeploy para suportahan ang mga operating troops at magsasagawa lamang sila ng kaukulang adjustment sa kanilang operasyon batay sa gagawing assessment ng mga ground commanders.
