CHED Chair Patricia Licuanan, pinatigil na din sa pagdalo sa cabinet meetings
Maliban kay Vice President Leni Robredo, nakatanggap din ng text message si Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Chairperson Patrcia Licuanan na nag-aatas sa kaniyang itigil na ang pagdalo sa cabinet meetings.
Ayon kay Licuanan, kahapon, December 4, nakatanggap din siya ng mensahe sa pamamagitang ng text mula kay Cabinet Secretary Leoncio Evasco Jr.
Sa nasabing text, nakasaad na iniuutos na umano ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na na simula ngayong araw, December 5, hindi na siya dapat dumalo sa pulong ng gabinete.
Tiniyak naman ni Licuanan kay Evasco na tutugon siya sa atas na ito ng pangulo.
Pero ani Licuanan, sa ngayon, patuloy ang kaniyang trabaho bilang chairperson ng CHED.
“On Sunday, 04 December 2016, I received a text message from Cabinet Secretary Leoncio Evasco, Jr. relaying President Rodrigo Duterte’s instructions to stop attending Cabinet meetings starting this Monday, 05 December, 2PM. I assured Sec. Evasco that I would comply. In the meantime, I will continue my work as Chairperson of the Commission on Higher Education,” bahagi ng statement ni Licuanan.
