Isinilbi kay Senator Leila De Lima ang show cause order ng Kamara kaugnay sa imbestigasyon na ginagawa ng house justice committee sa kalakalan ng ilegal na droga sa New Bilibid Prisons (NBP).
Sina House Majority Leader Rodolfo Fariñas at House justice committee chairman Reynaldo Umali ang personal na nagdala ng show cause order sa Office of the Senate Secretary.
Tinanggap ni Senate Secretary Lutgardo Barbo ang kopya ng show cause order.
Nakasaad sa kautusan ng kamara na binibigyan lamang si De Lima ng 72 oras o tatlong araw mula sa oras na matanggap niya ang kopya kung bakit hindi siya dapat ma-cite for contempt dahil sa paghimok kay Ronnie Dayan na isnabin ang subpeina ng kamara.
Ayon sa kamara, ang ginawang ito ni De Lima ay nagdulot ng “undue interference” sa kanilang pagdinig.
