600 tauhan ng Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau, sinibak ni Mayor Erap

Sinibak sa serbisyo ni Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada ang lahat ng 600 tauhan ng Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau (MTPB).

Ito ay dahil sa mga ulat na sangkot ang mga traffic enforcers ng Manila City Hall sa pangingikil at iba pang ilegal na aktibidad.

Sinabi ni Mayor Estrada, simula bukas, araw ng Martes, ang mga tauhan na ng Traffic Enforcement Unit ng Manila Police District (MPD) ang magmamando ng traffic sa lungsod.

Ayon kay MTBP chief Dennis Alcoreza napikon na Estrada sa nangyayaring korapsyon at kapabayaan sa mga kalsada ng Maynila kaya nito ipinag-utos ang pagsibak lahat ng MTBP personnel.

Papayagan naman ang mga sinibak na MTPB personnel na muling mag-apply para sa nasabing trabaho pero dadaan sila sa matinding pagbusisi ng screening committee.

Isinama ni Mayor Estrada sa screening committee ang ilang transport sector.
