ABS-CBN, nag-sorry sa PAGASA kaugnay sa episode ng show na Goin’ Bulilit
Humingi na ng paumanhin ang ABS-CBN sa Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
Ito ay matapos ipalabas sa gag show na Goin’ Bulilit ang pagbibiro nito sa umano’y hindi maasahang weather forecasts ng ahensya.
Sa November 13 episode ng nasabing pambatang show, binigyang-kahulugan ng isang bata ang acronym na PAGASA, bilang “Palaging Guess At ‘Lang Saktong Announcements”.
Nainsulto dito ang Philippine Weathermen Employees Association, samahan ng mga empleyado ng PAGASA, at humingi ng public apology mula sa naturang comedy show.
Giit ng ABS-CBN, ang konteksto nito ay pabiro lamang at hindi dapat tignan bilang isang katunayan o kritisismo.
Dagdag nito, hindi intensyon ng network na saktan o insultuhin ang PAGASA at mga tauhan nito.
