“Pinuwersa si Jaybee para kasuhan ako” – De Lima
Naniniwala si Senator Leila De Lima na pinilit lamang o pinuwersa ang high-profile inmate na si Jaybee Sebastian kaya ito naghain ng reklamo laban sa kaniya.
Ani De Lima, gaya ng pagharap ni Sebastian sa pagdinig ng kamara hinggil sa illegal drug trade sa Bilibid, pinilit lang din si Sebastian para magsampa ng reklamo.
“I believe that, just like his appearance at the House inquiry, Sebastian has been coerced to file that so-called complaint. It’s a matter of life and death for him. He’s just fulfilling his part of the bargain with the evil forces so they don’t touch him,” ayon kay De Lima.
Nagtataka din si De Lima kung bakit sa Department of Justice (DOJ) isinampa ang kaso na pinamumunuan ng numero uno niyang kritiko na si Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II.
Ani De Lima, dapat ay sa Office of the Ombudsman isinasampa ang mga kaso laban sa mga elected officials na gaya niya.
Muli sinabi ni De Lima na ginagamit ng kasalukuyang administrasyon ang bentahe nito habang nasa pwesto pa.
Itinuturing ng senadora na ang isinampang kaso ay bahagi ng pag-railroad ng pamahalaan sa mga ibinibintang sa kaniya.
