Nagbitiw sa pwesto si Department of National Defense o DND Undersecretary for Civil, Veterans and Retirees Affairs Eduardo Batac.
Ayon kay DND Public Affairs Office chief Arsenio Andolong, ang resignation ni Batac ay dahil sa “health and personal reasons.”
Sinabi ni Andolong na nagsumite na ng letter of resignation si Batac at natanggap na ito ni DND Secretary Voltaire Gazmin.
Bago ang pormal na pagbibitiw, matatandaang nag-leave of absence si Batac.
Ang naiwang posisyon ni Batac ay pansamantalang hahawakan ni DND Undersecretary Honorio Azcueta./Isa Avendaño-Umali
