Si Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas na ang mamanukin ng Liberal Party para sa 2016 Presidential Elections.
Ito ang kinumpirma ni Western Samar Rep. at Liberal Party Secretary General Mel Senen Sarmiento.
Ayon kay Sarmiento, nakatakda na ang pagtataas sa kamay ni Roxas ni Pangulong Noynoy Aquino sa July 31, 2015 ganap na alas nuwebe ng umaga sa Club Filipino sa lungsod ng San Juan.
Una nang tampok ng mga usap-usapan kung sino kina Senator Grace Poe at Roxas ang pipiliin at kandidato ng pangulo bilang LP standard bearer para sa 2016.
Hindi naman nagsalita si Sarmiento kung sino ang magiging katambal ni Roxas bilang kandidato bilang bise presidente. /Isa Avendaño-Umali
