Bagaman una nang ipinagpaliban ang parusang kamatayan ay nasa death row pa rin hanggang ngayon si Veloso.
Ngayong araw nakatakdang makipagkita at makipag-usap ang DOJ Team sa mga opisyal ng Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Law and Human Rights at ng Attorney General’s Office ng Indonesia.
Pinamumunuan ni Chief State Counsel Ricardo Paras III ang team na kinabibilangan nina Justice Assistant Secretary Neil Simon Silva, at mga State Counsel na sina Mildred Alvor at Nancy Lozano.
Sina Assistant State Prosecutors Olivia Torrevillas at Mark Roland Estepa naman ang mula sa National Prosecution Service habang sina Supervising Agent Basset Sarip at Special Investigator Danilo Garay ang mula sa NBI.
Target din ng grupo na maka-usap si Veloso para makakuha ng karagdagang salaysay para mapalakas ang kaso laban sa mga recruiter ni Mary Jane at isang hinihinalang miyembro ng West African drug syndicate./Ricky Brozas
