‘Helen’ nasa labas na ng PAR; Habagat, magdadala ng ulan sa maghapon
Nakalabas na ng Philippine Area of responsibility (PAR) ang bagyong ‘Helen’
Ayon sa PAGASA, dakong alas 11:00 ng gabi, namataan ang sentro ng bagyo sa layong 450 kilometro north northwest ng Basco, Batanes.
Gayunman, inaasahang makakaranas pa rin ng mga pag-ulan at thunderstorms ang bansa partikular sa Cagayan, Apayao, Benguet, Ilocos Region, Central Luzon, Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, at Western Visayas dulot ng epekto ng southwest monsoon o habagat.
Matapos tumama sa extreme northern Luzon, tinawid ng bagyong Helen (Megi) Martes ng hapon ang Taiwan kung saan nasa apat katao na ang iniulat na nasawi.
Dakong ala-1:00 ng umaga, itinaas ng Pagasa ang Yellow rainfall warning sa Metro Manila at karatig probinsya.
