Impeachment laban kay Pangulong Duterte, hindi magtatagumpay ayon kay Sen. Lacson
Hindi magtatagumpay ang anumang planong impeachment laban kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, na ngayon ay nasa ikatlong buwan na sa puwesto bilang Presidente ng Pilipinas ayon kay Senator Panfilo Lacson.
Sinabi ni Lacson na Vice Chairman ng Senate justice and human rights committee, na maraming kaalyado si Duterte sa Kamara na hararang sa anumang ihahaing impeachment complaint.
Dagdag pa ni Lacson na mahihirapan ito na makakakuha ng one-third na boto mula sa kabuuang bilang ng mga kongresista.
Ang nasabing proseso ng impeachment at nagmumula sa House of Representatives bago ito ay mapunta sa Senado na may 24 miyembro na siyang magsasagawa ng paglilitis.
Kasama sa majority bloc ng Senado ay ang mga pro-Aquino Liberal Pary habang si Senate President Aquilino Pimentel naman ang namumuno sa PDP-Laban ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
