Dalawangpung miyembro ng Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) ang sumuko sa Armed Forces of ther Philippines (AFP) sa Sumisip, Basilan.
Ito ang kinumpirma ni Western Mindanao Command spokesperson Major Filemon Tan.
Ayon kay Tan, ang 20 miyembro ng ASG ay sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni ASG sub-leader Katatong Balaman alyas “Tating” na mula sa lalawigan ng Basilan.
Sumuko umano ang mga ASG sa mga sundalo ng 104th Brigade, 1st Infantry Division ng Philippine Army sa ilalim ni Colonel Thomas C. Donato Jr.
Isinuko ng 20 ASG Members na ito ang walong high-powered firearms at dalawang locally-made shotguns.
Patuloy pa rin ang pagtugis ng mga tauhan ng military sa bandidong grupo base na rin sa direktiba ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
