Inilunsad ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang “iSerbis”, na pinakabago nitong mobile application.
Ayon sa direktor ng PNP-Information Technology Management Service na si Chief Supt. Edwin Jose Nemenzo, tugon ito ng pulisya sa paghikayat ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa mga ahensya ng pamahalaan na gumamit ng makabagong teknolohiya para mabawasan ang red tape.
Dagdag pa ni Nemenzo, nahagi rin ito ng kampanya ng gobyerno laban sa iligal na droga.
Nilalaman ng iSerbis ang infographics, at mga update kaugnay sa Project Double Barrel.
Gamit ang mobile app maaring mag-report ng krimen at modus operandi ang publiko, at makikita ang mga emergency hotline.
Ma-aaccess din sa naturang app ang PNP Directory, laman ang opisyal na contact numbers ng lahat ng hepe ng pulisya.
Sinabi rin ni Nemenzo na integrated na rito ang iba pang mobile application ng PNP, gaya ng “Itaga Mo Sa Bato App”, at hotlines 911 at 8888.
