Terminong “death under investigation”, gagamiting termino sa halip na “extrajuidicial killings” sa Kongreso
Hindi gagamitin ang terminong “extrajudicial killings” sa gagawing pagdinig ng Kongreso.
Sa halip, ang terminong “death under investigation” ang gagamiting gabay ng house committee on public order and safety na galing mismo kay PNP Chief Director General Ronald Dela Rosa.
Nauna nang inaprubahan ni Congressman Romeo Acop, Chairman ng nasabing komite ang mosyon ni Deputy Speaker Gwendolyn Garcia na kumukwestyon sa salitang “extra-judicial killings” dahil wala naman niyang death penalty sa bansa.
Giit ni Garcia, hindi maaaring gamitin ang extrajudicial killing dahil wala namang masasabing “judicial killing” sa Pilipinas hangga’t hindi naibabalik ang death penalty law.
