Bibigyan ng immunity from suit ang mga preso sa Bilibid na tetestigo vs De Lima

Pagkakalooban ng immunity from suit ang mga preso ng New Bilibid Prisons na tetestigo laban kay Senator Leila De Lima sa isasagawang pagdinig ng House of Representatives kaugnay sa pamamayagpag ng illegal drugs trade sa Bilibid.

Ayon kay Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II, anuman ang sabihin o aminin ng mga tetestigong preso, hindi sila idedemanda kaugnay sa mga ibibunyag nilang may kinalaman sa illegal drugs trade.

Mahalaga ito ayon kay Aguirre upang mahikayat ang mga testigo na ilahad ang lahat ng kanilang nalalaman.

Sa press conference sa DOJ, sinabi ni Aguirre na 75% ng illegal drugs ay nagmumula sa loob ng Bilibid.

Una nang sinabi ni Aguirre na tetestigo laban kay De Lima ang ilang high-profile inmates.

Kasama ding tetestigo bukas si National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Deputy Director Rafael Ragos, at driver-escort nito na si Junior Ablen.
