Nagbuga ng abo ang Mount Bulusan kahapon matapos ang naganap na phreatic eruption.
Ayon sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), nagkaroon ng phreatic eruption sa Bulusan sa loob ng 280 seconds, at naglabas ng abo na umabot sa 1.5 kilometro ang taas, dakong alas-4:54 ng hapon ng Biyernes.
Nagaganap ang phreatic eruptions tuwing nag-iinit ang tubig sa ilalim ng lupa dahil sa magma, lava o kaya sa mga maiinit na bato.
