Hindi na matutuloy ang Manila leg ng Lebron James’ Asia tour ayon sa inilabas na advisory ng Nike na siyang major sponsor sa nasabing sporting event.
Ayon sa Nike, “”Due to logistical challenges Nike has made the difficult decision to cancel the Manila portion of LeBron James’ Asia tour, we apologize to all the fans in the Philippines and will look to reschedule the tour in the future.”
Ang 4-time MVP na si James ay nakatakda sanang dumating sa bansa bukas para sa media conference sa Makati City na susundan ng “Battle the Doubt Night” na gaganapin sa Smart Araneta Colisium sa Quezon City.
Ito na sana ang ikatlong pagkakataon na makakapunta sa Pilipinas si James na nanguna kamakailan para sa kampeonato ng kanyang team na Cleaveland Cavaliers sa NBA.
