De Lima hindi hahayaan ni CGMA na mabiktima ng persecution sa Kamara

Mismong si dating Pangulo at ngayo’y House Deputy Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo ang nagtiyak na hindi matitikman ni Senadora Leila de Lima ang persecution na naranasan niya noon.

Ito’y kaugnay sa ikinakasang imbestigasyon ng Mababang Kapulungan sa paglaganap ng droga sa New Bilibid Prison o NBP partikular noong panahon na Justice Secretary pa si de Lima.

Ayon kay CGMA, very confident umano siya na tatalima sa due process ang mga Kongresista sa congressional inquiry sa Bilibid issue.

Tiniyak din ni CGMA na walang dapat na ikabahala si de Lima.

Pero may pasimpleng pasaring ang dating Pangulo, dahil hindi tulad ng nangyari sa kanya na naparusahan agad kahit hindi pa na napapatunayang guilty, tila swerte pa si de Lima ngayon.

“Well, I’m very confident that due process is going to be observed, unlike in the time when I was being persecuted,” yan ang pahayag ni Arroyo.

Sa ngayon ay na-i-refer na sa House Committee on Justice na pinamumunuan ni Mindoro Oriental Rep. Reynaldo Umali ang House Resolution ng Liderato ng Kapulungan, pero wala pa itong naitatakdang petsa kung kailan masisimulan ang pagdinig.
