Dating DAR Secretary, ilang mambabatas, iniimbestigahan sa P220M DAR scam
Inumpisahan na ng Office of the Ombudsman ang imbestigasyon sa dating kalihim ng Department of Agrarian Reform at tatlo pang mambabatas kaugnay ng P220 million scam sa kagawaran noong 2010 hanggang 2011.
Isinasailalim sa preliminary investigation sina dating Agrarian Reform (DAR) Secretary Virgilio delos Reyes, Senador Gregorio Honasan II, dating Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada, dating San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan Representative Arturo Robes dahil sa paglabag sa Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act and Malversation through Falsification of Public Documents.
Kasama rin sa iniimbestigahan ang limang opisyal ng DAR at Department of Budget and Management (DBM).
Natuklasan ng Commission on Audit na napunta ang P200 million na pondo sa mga ghost projects ng mga nasabing mambabatas na para sana sa 27 munisipalidad sa mga lalawigan ng Isabela, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Ilocos Norte, Nueva Ecija, Bataan, Quezon, Batangas, at Pangasinan.
Natuklasan din na gumamit ang mga respondent ng mga palsipikadong dokumento at pekeng pirma para mapalabas ang P220 milyong pondo.
