Mayor Espinosa, sa police station muna nag-oopisina
Dahil sa pangamba sa kaniyang kaligtasan, inilipat ni Albuera, Leyte Mayor Rolando Espinosa Jr., ang mayor’s office sa police station sa nasabing bayan.
Ayon kay Chief Inspector Jovie Espenido, hepe ng Albuera Police, humiling ng protective custody ang alkalde matapos siyang magsumite ng affidavit sa mga otoridad na naglalaman ng pangalan ng mga umano’y protektor ng illegal drug trade sa Eastern Visayas.
Pansamantala, sinabi ni Espenido na ginagamit ni Espinosa bilang mayor’s office ang investigation room sa Albuera police station.
Naglaan din ng mga dagdag na upuan at lamesa para sa pansamantalang tanggapan ni Espinosa.
Tiniyak naman ni Espenido na ligtas ang alkalde sa loob ng himpilan ng pulisya.
