Drug personalities, hiniling ni Sen. Ping Lacson na ma-exempt sa Bank Secrecy Law

lacson file photo inqHindi na maitatago sa bangko ng mga drug personalities kapag naaprubahan ang panukala ni Senator Ping Lacson.

Sa inihain Senate Bill 1025 ni Lacson, layon nito na hindi magamit ng mga taong sangkot sa bentahan at pagpalakalat ng droga ang Bank Secrecy Act. Sinabi ni Lacson na palalakasin ng kanyang panukala ang Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Dagdag paliwanag ng senador kapag naaprubahan ang kanyang panukala mabubusisi na ang bank records ng mga drug personalities base na rin sa pag-ayon ng Pilipinas sa United Nations Convention Against Illicit Traffic in Narcotics Drug.

Ayon pa kay Lacson, kapag may court orders maari nang masuri ng PDEA, PNP at NBI ang bank accounts ng mga hinihinalang sangkot sa droga.
