25 Taiwanese na sangkot sa illegal drugs at operasyon ng cybercrime, arestado sa Boracay
Inaresto ng mga otoridad ang 25 Taiwanese na hinihinalang sangkot sa illegal drugs at operasyon ng cybercrime.
Isinagawa ang joint operation ng mga tauhan ng Boracay Tourist Assistance Center (BTAC) at provincial Special Weapons and Tactics team, Biyernes ng umaga sa Sitio Bulabog, Barangay Balabag sa Boracay Island.
Sangkot umano sa pagbebenta ng shabu ang mga inarestong dayuhan.
Pero matapos silang madakip, na-recover pa sa lugar na kanilang tinitirahan ang maraming telepono at laptos na maaring ginagamit naman nila sa cybercrime.
Ayon kay SPO1 Christopher Mendoza, community relations officer ng BTAC, patuloy pa ang imbestigasyon nila sa mga hindi pa pinapangalanang dayuhan.
