Mas mahalaga ang pananaw ni Pangulong Benigno Aquino III kaysa sa pananaw ng Liberal Party.
Ito ang sagot ni Senator Grace Poe, sa batikos ng ilang taga Liberal Party na tinawag siyang “outsider” at walang sapat na karanasan.
Sinabi ni Poe na nauunawaan naman niya ang mga talaga Liberal Party dahil natural lang sa mga ito na kampihan ang mga kanilang kaalyado sa partido.
“When I ran in 2013, I joined that coalition and President Aquino was my guide. If ever I should make a decision and they believe that I am worthy of their support, the most important is the view of the President and not of just a party,” Ito ang sinabi ni Poe sa panayam sa Radyo Inquirer.
Ayon pa kay Poe, natutunan na rin niya kung paano tugunan ang mga kritisismo lalo na kung mula sa mga kaalyado ni PNoy sa LP.
“Even if he is a friend, I cannot read everything that is on the mind of the President. He is honest, not only with me but also with all his allies. He does not impose himself. He has long been telling me that this will not be easy,” paliwanag pa ng senador.
